SOM-INN PORT participated in the Thematic Table on Blue Strategy organised by Tarragona Impulsa of Tarragona City Council, where we explained the Open Innovation Ecosystem of the Port of Tarragona and the various blue economy innovation projects being carried out in the Port of Tarragona, including the Port Tarragona Blue Innovation Hub which is currently in the gestation phase.<\/p>\n
This thematic round table, in which several Tarragona entities have also participated, aims to learn about the activities that each one carries out and what are the common interests, in order to define a joint strategy of collaboration to promote the Blue Economy in Tarragona, which generates new opportunities in research, knowledge, entrepreneurship, job creation and wealth.<\/p>\n
This activity is framed within the project “Diagnosis in Blue Economy, identification of challenges and opportunities” that Tarragona Impulsa is carrying out, to help detect opportunities and challenges to specify a work plan that, from a public and private perspective, promotes collaboration between actors to deploy the potential of the different sectors of economic activities.<\/p>\n
The results of this study are expected to be presented in November this year.<\/p>\n
