People are needed for innovation: customers and collaborators.

Talent is “the oil” of the 21st century. Surrounding yourself with people who are better than you is the ultimate expression of talent.

The culture of innovation in organizations is not what is said that must be done but what is really being done.

Almost all organizations innovate but few have the culture of innovation and are therefore innovative.

To make cultural change to be an innovating organization, it is necessary for the executive committee to believe in it. The best leadership is exemplary. The highest representative of the organization must be the sponsor of this cultural change. In organizations there are always people reluctant to make cultural change. These people must receive the message that “we want to make cultural change with you, but we will do it anyway in spite of you.”

Ramón García, General Manager of the Port Authority, thanked Marcos Urarte for his speech and ended the session of this 8th Agora and the activities of the open innovation cycle 2020 by thanking all the participants and indicating that the projects resulting from this cycle will be discussed with the different departments of the TPA to jointly study the implementation opportunites and options.

General Manager of the TPA at the end of the session

16 December 2020

Studies and Innovation Department

With the 8th session of the Agora of SOM-INN PORT, held online on 16 December, the activities planned for the Open Innovation Cycle for this year were completed.
