Its development officially began with a virtual kick-off meeting held on July 11.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2461\" data-end=\"2747\">Participants in the meeting included Antonio G\u00f3mez, Diego Souto, and Gonzalo Santos representing MCValnera; Airam Exp\u00f3sito and Jonay Moreno from Kaizten Analytics; and N\u00faria Obiols, Iv\u00e1n Bernal, Nuri Bordas, Carme Tarrag\u00f3, and Maria Pineda Vaquer from the Port of Tarragona.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2749\" data-end=\"2984\">The project involves the development of software that enables a digital twin planner to enhance the efficiency of maritime operations and port services using data analytics, process optimization, and scenario simulation techniques.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2986\" data-end=\"3250\">The main goal is to optimize port call times and the activities related to berthing operations, with a specific focus on technical-nautical port services.
