In recent weeks, we have welcomed a new member to the SOM-INN PORT community: ICIL (Institute for Careers and Innovation in Logistics and Supply Chain).<\/p>\n


Founded in Barcelona in 1980, ICIL is a forum for meeting and discussing logistics professionals, with over 1,200 associated professionals, most of whom are in Catalonia and the rest of the country, although the entity also has an international presence.<\/p>\n


ICIL has three main aspects: the association, whose goal is to boost competitiveness in the supply chain area through innovation; the institute for studies, through which it develops numerous logistics studies and research and offers advisory and consultancy services for companies and entities; and finally, the training center, specializing in postgraduate and master\u2019s studies in logistics and supply chain.<\/p>\n


At SOM-INN PORT, we are convinced that ICIL\u2019s inclusion in the Port of Tarragona\u2019s Open Innovation Ecosystem represents a great opportunity to establish new synergies related to innovation in logistics.<\/p>\n
