SOM-INN PORT attended the presentation on the results of the project “Blue Economy Strategy: Diagnosis and challenges for the future”<\/strong>, carried out by Tarragona Impulsa of the Tarragona City Council, on 26 October at the Teatret del Serrallo of the Port of Tarragona. The event began with the welcome given by Sa\u00fcl Garreta, President of the Port Authority of Tarragona, who introduced the presentation of the results of the project.<\/p>\n

Cristina Altadill Moln\u00e9, Employment and Local Development Agent at Tarragona Impulsa, together with Francesc Quintana Rubio, consultant in Advanced Resource Transfer and New Services SL (UTRANS), offered a detailed overview of the diagnosis and future challenges of the study carried out on the Blue Economy Strategy in Tarragona.<\/p>\n

The aim of the project was to analyse the needs and opportunities of the subsectors of the Blue Economy in Tarragona to develop their economic and employment potential. Once this analysis was carried out, the project focused on defining lines of work to strengthen the subsectors detected, focusing on the social and business dynamization of those that showed the most potential.<\/p>\n

The study highlights the importance of the collaboration and participation of the different actors involved in the development of the Blue Economy project in Tarragona. The Port Authority of Tarragona and SOM-INN PORT have participated in the preparation of this study, providing information on the Blue Economy activities and projects that are currently being carried out in the Port of Tarragona and those that will be carried out in the near future. The execution of this project has been carried out within the framework of the 2022 call for Support and Accompaniment to the Strategic Planning of the Employment Service of Catalonia.<\/p>\n
