The Catalunya Sud ICT Cluster has formalised its incorporation as a member of the open innovation community of the Port of Tarragona, SOM-INN PORT. This new incorporation will allow both organisations to collaborate more closely with the aim of promoting innovation and digitalisation in the territory and, more specifically, within the port community and the logistics sector. This new alliance is a further step for Port Tarragona to promote its digital transformation, gain competitiveness and position itself at the forefront of technology in the port sector.

The Catalunya Sud ICT Cluster was founded in 2014 with the aim of promoting and contributing to competitiveness in the value chain of the Information and Communication Technologies sector in Camp de Tarragona and Les Terres de l’Ebre. The TICSud works to contribute to the promotion of economic activity by offering technological solutions to all sectors and is currently made up of a hundred technology companies and institutions.
This business association acts as a pole of attraction for talent and international projects to position the territory as the technological hub of reference in southern Europe, favouring the generation, recruitment and retention of talent through the connection of companies, institutions and key training actors.
