New digital planning system in the Port of St. Petersburg

Global Ports Group is responsible for this digital planning system. It has started at the first container terminal (FCT) and Petrolesport (PLP) in the port of St. Petersburg.

Project description

Using the Portchain online platform, customers can monitor the operational situation on the docks. The platform collects real-time scheduling data on ship arrival and handling, including the docking assignment, cargo management, arrival time and real-time docking number.

Users quickly receive information about current and scheduled operations as well as service statistics.

Project objective

Enable terminal agents to allocate resources more efficiently to improve decision-making in terminals.
