Project description
The project consists of setting up a driving group that will act as a link between various projects in the city. This group will be in charge of promoting synergies so that new projects can be generated and support can be found among the participants. It will be made up of different agents such as public and private entities, knowledge institutions and citizens will also play a key role.
Tarragona Social Lab will connect entities, companies, knowledge centres, citizens and projects, transfer innovative know-how and promote projects by identifying challenges and offering a space in which to co-create solutions.
Project objective
The aim of the project is to create a platform to channel the creativity and collective intelligence of citizens towards the solution of common challenges. It aims to generate a multi-stakeholder space where solutions can be co-created and tested.
Expected benefits of innovation
The aim is to bring innovation closer to the city of Tarragona by encouraging the co-responsibility of citizens towards the city’s challenges. Tarragona Social Lab will also help Tarragona’s hidden innovative fabric to emerge by creating a talent map. It will also promote the generation of projects with the capacity to bring about a social and digital transformation of Tarragona’s society.
