2nd Ports 4.0 Call for Pre-Commercial Projects

We would like to inform you that yesterday, 10March, the 2nd Ports 4.0 call for Pre-Commercial Projects was published.

This call regulates the granting of public aid, by Ports of the State, in the frame of the Plan of Impulse to the Entrepreneurship for the Innovation in the Port Sector. The Rules of Procedure of this call are governed by the same ministerial order as the previous call.

The amount of the present call for the financing of Pre-Commercial Projects has increased to 11.250.000 € (in the 1st call it was 7.500.000 €).

Projects eligible for aid must develop a new product, service, process, or improve an existing technology with a new innovative component developing its application for the logistics-port sector.

Proposals must present solutions in one or more areas of logistics-port activity. These areas are: Logistics efficiency in the field of infrastructure, operational or delivery service, environmental sustainability and energy, security and protection, digitization of smart processes and platforms and any other product, service or innovative process with an impact on the port logistics sector or the port nautical or fishing sector.

The Pre-Commercial Projects program subsidizes up to 60% of the budget associated with the innovative component of the project up to a maximum of 1,000,000€.

The deadline for submitting proposals is 11 June 2022.
