Recently, REDESSA and VIRTUAM360º expressed their willingness to become members of SOM-INN PORT by formalising their adhesion to the Open Innovation Ecosystem of the Port of Tarragona.
REDESSA is the municipal company of the Reus City Council in charge of supporting entrepreneurship, employment generation and economic promotion through specialised advice and flexible business centres, which adapt to all types of businesses.
REDESSA Cepid, Business Centre for Innovation and Development
REDESSA manages several business centres: REDESSA Tecno, for technology-based companies; REDESSA Nursery, focused on new entrepreneurs and startups; and REDESSA Cepid, dedicated to spinoffs and headquarters of the reference laboratory in the south of Catalonia. It also manages the industrial buildings of the REDESSA Naus complex in the AgroReus industrial estate. In total, some 1,300 professionals rely on REDESSA’s services and facilities to grow their business.
REDESSA is also in charge of managing public housing in the city commissioned by Reus City Council and the Reus Events Trade Fair and Convention Centre. With the aim of expanding services to make companies more competitive, in October REDESSA will launch REDESSA’s INNOLAB, which will have a team of innovation mentors who will work with the teams designated by the companies. This innovation laboratory is aimed at companies that want to innovate in new products, services or procedures and also in new business or organisational models, in order to improve their competitiveness and promote their growth.
Virtuam 360º is a communication and digital transformation startup created by Marina Almazán, one of our Som-Inn Port Innovation Agents who recently wanted to consolidate her path as an entrepreneur. Virtuam 360º offers multiple solutions based on virtual reality. They develop virtual tours, creative videos and offer advice and consultancy on communication, marketing and digital transformation. In addition to offering these services, they are open to new challenges and to exploring all the possibilities that this technology offers.

Being part of the innovation ecosystem of Som-Inn Port, these two new members confirm their willingness to continue developing innovative skills and networking to collaborate with other entities that seek this constant transformation in order to promote innovation.
