The Port Authority of Seville is responsible for the AIRIS Project involving Sener, Serviport Andalucía, Portel Logistic Technologies and the University of Seville. This project is co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) programme.
Project description
The AIRIS project is a continuation of Tecnoport’s 2025 eRio project and consists of the implementation of the European RIS (River Information Service) standard throughout the Guadalquivir Euroway, from Seville to Sanlúcar de Barrameda, in order to improve maritime traffic management through real-time data exchange. It is addressed to the Port Community and the agents of the Guadalquivir estuary.
Project objective
To know more accurately the state of the inland waterway to improve and increase the operation of the boats as much as possible depending on the tide.
