The President of the Port of Tarragona, Santiago Castellà, invites you to the “1st Tarragona Blue Economy Conference: Global Challenges, Local Opportunities”, which will take place on 24 November, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Teatret del Serrallo at the Port of Tarragona.
This conference is part of the Blue Economy Pact, led by Tarragona City Council, and the Port of Tarragona’s Innovare Plan.
It is organised by Tarragona Impulsa, part of Tarragona City Council, and SOM-INN PORT, the Port of Tarragona’s Open Innovation Ecosystem.
The conference is designed as a space for reflection, debate, and knowledge transfer regarding the main challenges and opportunities of the blue economy, with a particular focus on its application within the Mediterranean context and the potential of Tarragona as a leading territory in this field. Furthermore, the programme will feature prominent speakers and will combine strategic content, inspiring experiences, and concrete initiatives to connect scientific knowledge with opportunities for economic development, innovation, sustainability, and territorial governance.
