This year, Santiago J. Castellà, President of the Port Authority of Tarragona, also holds the presidency of the Barcelona-Catalunya Centre Logístic (BCL).
In this context, on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 15:00 to 18:30, at the Josefina Castellví room in the institutional building of the Port Authority of Tarragona, BCL and the Port of Tarragona are organising the conference:
“Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Logistics: Key insights and best practices in the application of AI to logistics”.
The session will bring together professionals and organisations from across the sector to share experiences and reflections on the application of artificial intelligence in logistics.
The programme will include an institutional welcome by Santiago J. Castellà, President of BCL, and Sergi Novo, Manager of the Clúster TIC Catalunya Sud.
This will be followed by presentations of several initiatives linked to the digital transformation of the sector, including the book “Digitaliza tu logística. Guía práctica para Pymes” by its author José Matías Arenas, and the White Paper on artificial intelligence in logistics, presented by Joan Mas, Director of CIDAI.
The conference will also include two roundtables focused on:
