Last Thursday, 7th February, durant la Jornada Som-Inn Port was presented at the Conference “Open Innovation in the Public Sector”. This event was organized by the Open Innovation Commission of the Innovation Community of the Spanish Association of Quality. It was held in Madrid at the headquarters of WAYRA, Telefónica’s major start-up accelerator.
Innovation executives from important public entities, such as ADIF, AENA, RENFE, CORREOS, RTVE and WAYRA also participated, with whom it was possible to exchange experiences on open innovation.
During the colloquium, organized after the presentations, between more than 50 attendees and the speakers, and during the networking, the initiative of SOM-INN PORT was greatly appreciated.
The event has had a great impact on social networks and has helped us to position Som-Inn Port, its members, and the Port of Tarragona as promoters of Open Innovation. It has also allowed us to obtain support and recognition from other public entities.
