The Som-Inn Port Agora defines the first innovation challenges of the Innovation Ecosystem

Following the Inaugural session of the Port of Tarragona’s Innovation Ecosystem, held last June 21stSom-Inn Port has hoisted sails for the first navigation stage of the Open Innovation cycle. On July 17th the 1st meeting of the Som-Inn Port Innovation Commission was held, and later, on July 20th, the 1st Agora, which provided an opportunity to define Som-Inn Port’s first innovation challenges.

 

Som-Inn Port’s Innovation Commission

Som-Inn Port Innovation Commission is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and coordination of this Ecosystem of Innovation, as well as the quality of the Open Innovation cycle content. It suggests improvements or changes that will subsequently be approved by the Agora.

In Som-Inn Port’s initial stage, this Commission is made up of:

  • Jordi Cartanyà, from Rovira i Virgili Universtity
  • Gustavo Cuadrado, from the Tarragona Smart Mediterranean Region foundation
  • Joan Oriol, from Fertilizantes Tarragona, S.L.
  • Eduardo Sañudo, from Vopak Terquimsa
  • Josep M. Maceira, from the Tarragona Port Authority
  • Carme Tarragó, from the Tarragona Port Authority

 

Som-Inn Port’s Innovation Commission

Som-Inn Port’s first Agora

The 1st meeting of the Som-Inn Port Agora was held on July 20th. All the members of Som-Inn Port form part of the Agora, by way of the Agents of Innovation who are their representatives. The Agora is Som-Inn Port’s main management tool. Its goal is to monitor the development of the five core principles of the Open Innovation cycle and to approve the Innovation Commission’s proposals.

During this first meeting the Commission’s operating rules, and also those of the Agora, were approved, together with the Plan of Activities for the second half of 2018.
